Range Testing.

Our range facilities are extensive and allow testing of a large variety of testing types and methodologies.

Our staff are highly trained and very experienced in testing. The range provides an excellent facility for

testing up to STANAG 4569 Level 4.

This makes it possible to test all known body armour, and most light vehicle specifications.

Our ammunition selection is extensive in both calibre and source which provides us with the ability to

thoroughly investigate the properties of any materials tested. We are able to reload and manufacture

ammunition on site to precise specifications. Most ammunition can be sourced within a matter of 2-3 days

if not in stock, with rarer types taking 10-14 days

The range is undergoing an upgrade programme to provide better facilities, these include:

1.       More accurate measurement and analysis equipment (ongoing)

2.       New gun fixture for improved accuracy for large calibre weapons (Dec 07)

3.       Improved firing point protection

4.       Programmable oven for more accurate clay temperature control (Dec 07)

5.       Improved access (5 tonne goods lift to be installed Jan 08)

6.       Body armour clay press for improved accuracy and testing rate (Feb 08)

7.       30mm/ Very high velocity 20mm FSP cannon (Feb/March 08)

                            We hope to gain the ISO 17025 accreditation early 2008.
